
According to Decree concerning MKE Scrap Purchase dated 20.03.1971 and numbered 7/5472, Decree concerning Spare Parts And Materials dated 31.10.1972 and numbered 7 / 5472 (excess stock material), Petroleum Law 112-4 and 221-2/Articles a, Law No 7330 concerning MKE Inc. published in the Official Gazette dated 03.07.2021 and numbered 31530 and Turkish Republic Council of Ministers and Southeastern Europe Land Forces Command Article 11 of NATO Status of Forces Convention, MKE Recycling Operations Directorate and its affiliates in Kırıkkale, Izmir, and Kocaeli continue operating on behalf of MKE Inc General Directorate by collecting and processing air, land and naval vehicles, pieces of machinery and equipment, (non) hazardous metal/alloy compound wastes, non-domestic non-metallic goods and materials, for civil or military purposes, excess in amount and ineffective, in possession of other Turkish institutions and organizations, SMEs and affiliated partnerships with at least 50 per cent public capital, as well as those, donated or abandoned, subject to customs paid or not, by foreign countries as per bilateral or multilateral agreements.
MKE factories will use the scraps obtained from these goods and materials. MKE Inc. can sell the surplus scrap to authorized and licensed firms and organizations under market conditions.
